Hiabs, lorry loaders, loading arms - whatever you wish to call them, crane lorries have transformed the way goods are moved and handled, providing a safe and effective means of loading all types and sizes of product. Building on Charles Hewitt’s extensive crane lorry experience, Swain Special Projects offers an extensive range of crane lorries from 5ton/m up to our mighty 65ton/m machines.
All our cranes can be radio operated, giving accurate and flexible operation and all meet the stringent safety requirements of LOLER, the governing regulations. All vehicles carry a range of certificated lifting equipment such as chains, slings and straps and our operators are CITB/CPCS/CSCS qualified or equivalent. We can offer a full site visit and risk assessment /method statement service and provide Appointed Persons / Slinger Banksmen if required. Additional items such as lifting beams and frames can also be provided and we can fabricate special frames or lifting supports to suit particular requirements.
